Copper Locker Membership

Your bottles.
Your locker.
Your bar.

The Copper Locker is Grain & Copper's private membership program — a dedicated space in the bar that's yours, and a set of privileges built for the guests who want to go deeper. Founding memberships are now open to the waitlist.

Every tier includes a dedicated locker and founding member status. The higher tiers add access to the experiences that make Grain & Copper genuinely unique — barrel picks, allocated releases, and exclusive dinners.

What a Barrel Pick Means

One barrel. Nowhere else.

When Grain & Copper does a barrel pick, we travel to the distillery. We taste from available barrels. We choose one. That barrel is bottled under our name and shipped exclusively to us.

The bottle on our shelf is not available anywhere else in Houston. When it's gone, it's gone. Barrel Select members are part of the selection process — you're not just buying a membership, you're co-authoring something genuinely rare.

Our barrel pick priorities: Garrison Brothers (Hye, TX) · Four Roses (Lawrenceburg, KY) · Maker's Mark Private Select · Bardstown Bourbon Company · Balcones (Waco, TX)

The Process
01We contact the distillery's barrel program coordinator
02Barrel Select members join us at the distillery
03We taste from available barrels — sometimes 6, sometimes 20
04Members vote. We pick. The barrel is ours.
05Bottles arrive through our distributor, 6–18 months later
06Reveal event. First pour. Members only.

Common Questions

Membership FAQ.

When will membership pricing be announced?

Pricing will be announced when we execute our lease and have a confirmed opening timeline. Founding members on the waitlist will be notified first — before any public announcement.

What happens to my bottles if I don't renew?

We'll contact you 30 days before your membership expires. If you choose not to renew, you'll have 30 day s to collect or arrange pickup of any bottles in your locker. We never sell or dispose of a member's bottles without explicit written consent.

Can I upgrade my tier after joining?

Yes. Tier upgrades are prorated. Founding members have priority on any tier upgrades before we open membership to the public. If you join as Copper and decide you want Reserve, you'll have first opportunity to make that change.

Is the locker shared or private?

Private and dedicated to you. Your name is on it. No other member has access. The locker is yours for the duration of your membership.

Do I have to buy a bottle to keep in my locker?

No. However, TABC regulations do not allow you to bring your own bottle.

What if you don't open?

The waitlist requires no payment and no commitment. If for any reason the opening is delayed or cancelled, you'll be notified immediately and no charges will have been made. Membership fees are only collected when we open.
